It is with very heavy hearts that we have to announce that NSFHSA is in the process of winding up. Changes over the recent years has resulted in reduced membership and recruitment of board members. You can read a bit about the history and you will note Mabel Bell was instrumental in creating the Home and School movement here in Nova Scotia. With that in mind NSFHSA felt it only fitting that a tree be planted at the Bell Museum in Baddeck to commemorate the work of Home and School groups from 1936 to today. Some historical artifacts have also been donated to the museum. We hope local groups continue to positively impact students across the province.
